Youth Cup: 2x GOLD

The Youth Cup took place in Cork, Ireland from 28th until 29th July. We participated in the junior men's double with Casper Vandamme and coach Thierry Daenekindt.

The saturday we had the fastest time in the heats, the finals were cancelled because of bad weather conditions. Medals were given to the best times from the heats, rowed in the morning. This way we could take the gold medal.

On sunday we had to defend our gold medal from the day before, to show that we have really earned that gold medal. And that was what we did, we won our heat so we qualified for the A-final of the sunday. In the A-final we could win with a big lead. We proved that we really earned the golden medal.
