International Regatta, Piediluco

The regatta of Piediluco is known for the high level of rowing, because of the many international teams that participate to prepare the upcoming international season. Corona made it hard for many countries to travel to Italy, so the entries were less than usual. Never the less, many Italian crews participated to this event because it was used to test out different combinations of crews.

We had to compete in two races, two times in the lightweight double (with Marlon Colpaert). We finished two times in second place, so we took two times the silver medal home, each time behind the Italian senior-A crew (Rocek & Soares) with only a few seconds.

This was for us a confirmation that we trained well during the winter months and that a good season was coming up.
