Belgian Champion LM1X

On the weekend of 22 and 23 April, the Belgian championships went ahead in Hazewinkel. After finishing first in the heat on Saturday morning, I was able to qualify directly for the A final.

The A final went ahead on Sunday in the late afternoon. After 2000m of solid fighting against the wind and against the competition, I crossed the line first in a time of 7'56". The silver was for Marlon Colpaert (8'02"), the bronze for Niels Van Zandweghe (8'04").

With this result, I can conclude my comeback. Thanks to everyone who supported me in this: Piet Graus, Jan Bourgois, Dr Honorée, Family, Friends....
